Description

A simple, no-bake butterfinger balls recipe that’s perfect for parties, holidays, or anytime you crave a sweet treat. Made with crushed Butterfinger candy bars, peanut butter, powdered sugar, and chocolate coating, these bite-sized desserts are crunchy, creamy, and utterly irresistible.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 34 standard Butterfinger candy bars, crushed
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter (or substitute like almond butter)
  • 1 ½ cups powdered sugar (adjust to taste)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
  • 12 oz chocolate chips or melting wafers (dark, milk, or white chocolate)
  • Optional toppings: crushed nuts, sprinkles, sea salt

Instructions

  1. Prepare Your Workspace: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside. Gather all ingredients and tools.
  2. Mix the Dough: In a large bowl, combine crushed Butterfingers, peanut butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract (if using). Mix until a sticky dough forms. Adjust sweetness or texture as needed.
  3. Shape the Balls: Scoop out tablespoon-sized portions of the dough and roll them into smooth balls. Place on the prepared baking sheet. Chill in the fridge for 15–20 minutes to firm up.
  4. Melt the Chocolate: Melt chocolate chips or wafers in the microwave in 20–30 second intervals, stirring between each zap until smooth. Add a teaspoon of coconut oil if needed for consistency.
  5. Dip and Decorate: Dip each chilled ball into the melted chocolate, letting excess drip off. Place back on the baking sheet and add optional toppings while the chocolate is still wet.
  6. Chill Again: Refrigerate the finished butterfinger balls for 15–20 minutes to set the chocolate. Serve and enjoy!
