Description
A simple, no-bake butterfinger balls recipe that’s perfect for parties, holidays, or anytime you crave a sweet treat. Made with crushed Butterfinger candy bars, peanut butter, powdered sugar, and chocolate coating, these bite-sized desserts are crunchy, creamy, and utterly irresistible.
Ingredients
Scale
- 3–4 standard Butterfinger candy bars, crushed
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter (or substitute like almond butter)
- 1 ½ cups powdered sugar (adjust to taste)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
- 12 oz chocolate chips or melting wafers (dark, milk, or white chocolate)
- Optional toppings: crushed nuts, sprinkles, sea salt
Instructions
- Prepare Your Workspace: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside. Gather all ingredients and tools.
- Mix the Dough: In a large bowl, combine crushed Butterfingers, peanut butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract (if using). Mix until a sticky dough forms. Adjust sweetness or texture as needed.
- Shape the Balls: Scoop out tablespoon-sized portions of the dough and roll them into smooth balls. Place on the prepared baking sheet. Chill in the fridge for 15–20 minutes to firm up.
- Melt the Chocolate: Melt chocolate chips or wafers in the microwave in 20–30 second intervals, stirring between each zap until smooth. Add a teaspoon of coconut oil if needed for consistency.
- Dip and Decorate: Dip each chilled ball into the melted chocolate, letting excess drip off. Place back on the baking sheet and add optional toppings while the chocolate is still wet.
- Chill Again: Refrigerate the finished butterfinger balls for 15–20 minutes to set the chocolate. Serve and enjoy!
